More Local Non-Color images

  1. The palette chosen seems to be bright such as the red and yellow however, I visually enjoy how subtle they work in the piece. I also appreciate that all the tonal range is still visible. The image reminds me of crossing into alison and wonderland or a glimpse of an image of how a child sees the woods. Not just trees and water but an adventure of life lies beyond the bridge. A walk into the wild side.

  2. I definitely prefer the top image. The bottom piece doesn't really have many "non-local" color images besides the red crossing. It looks like a normal color image of a pond. But in the first image, the horses look almost circus like, and I love it. The perspective gives you a nice image to work with for this project. The blue fence isn't so saturated so you can still see the nice texture of the wood. I almost want to see the white parts of the horses another color, but the white does work well and make them stand out. Their expressions make it seem like they are talking to the viewers, it's very humorous, especially with the addition of color.

  3. The images with the horses is very nice the colors are subtle but affective and the horses seem to be smiling :)

I agree with Andrea's comment about the second image the colors seem pretty normal and the red it very overwhelming.

Composition wise the horse image is more thought provoking but yet i feel more could have come out of it.
